Medication for Recent Flu Exposure

Service Description

If you have been exposed to someone with the flu within the last 48 hours and do NOT yet have symptoms, we can now prescribe medication for you to help prevent the flu if you qualify (i.e. were exposed <48 hours ago, are at least 5 years of age, do not have end stage renal disease/not on dialysis, haven't taken antiviral medication for flu within the past 4 weeks and are considered to be in a high-risk flu category). *The cost of the medication is dependent on which medication is prescribed and your copay.
