Compounding is the practice of creating customized medicines that are tailored specifically for a patient. We have a full-service, non sterile compounding lab where we create unique solutions for people and pets! Some of our more common compounded medications are hormone creams, pain creams, pet medications and flavored medicines in unique forms for people and pets.
HORMONE THERAPY
Hormone imbalance affects millions of people every year. Hormones naturally fluctuate with age and sometimes dip so low (or high) that they need to be supplemented with support therapies. Hormone imbalances can present themselves through a variety of symptoms such as unexplained depression, anxiety, or fatigue, or even hot flashes, weight gain, and bone loss. Compounding hormone therapies allows us to really dial in the exact strength you need to get you feeling your best again. We only use bioidentical (not synthetic) hormones because they most closely match our bodies' naturally occurring hormones.
Tailored Solutions
Compounding offers patients the chance to get customized dosages of specific hormones. If one patient needs a little less estrogen, and another needs a little more testosterone, we help prescribers write the perfect compounded prescription that offers just the right amount to your keep hormones levels in balance.

Are they safe?
Ultimately, the most important safety issue is finding a solution that is customized for you. Too much or too little of any hormone can lead to imbalance and fluctuation, the biggest factor in increased health risks. And because they cannot be delivered in customized dosages, synthetic hormones can often give the body more hormones than it needs.
